This was the largest of the single story blocks. It was where 2BG took art in 1957/58 - through the double green doors I think.

I remember the class not so much because of the art lessons but because of an innocent, romantic encounter that sadly never came to anything - but then we were both just 12 years old.

    In 1957-8 the room through the double doors, labeled 70, was 3rd year form room, and was also used for art when we were at other classes.

      Interesting Colin. Your comment ties in with my memory of taking second year art classes in that room.....and I'm fairly confident that's where my first year (1CG) art classes were as well.
